Description:
Estimates of impervious surface acreage for 2010 will be generated for 48 towns in southeast New Hampshire and 11 communities in York County, Maine. The estimates will be based on applying both traditional and subpixel image classification techniques to 30-meter Landsat 5 satellite data, acquired in April of 2010. The 2010 data will extend previous impervious surface mapping efforts for New Hampshire and portions of coastal Maine from the years 1990, 2000, and 2005. This will provide a time-series of impervious surface trends for the region throughout the 20 year period.
