| Abstract: This data set contains 13 categories of land use data (polygons) for Strafford County, New Hampshire. The primary data used to derive the layer were 1998 United States Geological Survey (USGS) 1:12,000-scale, black & white, Digital Orthophoto Quadrangles (DOQs). Other sources used to develop the classification included road centerline data from the New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) and USGS Digital Line Graphs (DLGs), surface water data from the Federal Emergency Management Agency Digital Flood Insurance Rate Maps (DFIRMs), wetlands data from the National Wetlands Inventory (NWI) of the United States Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), and Landsat Thematic Mapper imagery. | |
